This refined gyokuro highlights the wonders of the saemidori cultivar with its rich umami characteristics and highly fragrant and sweet aroma.

With a light-hued liquor and full-bodied mouth feel, complex notes of nori, fresh cut grass and asparagus fill each sip. The rich umami of this tea lasts over several steeps, with subtle notes of persimmon and nuttiness developing over time.

The fresh leaves of this competition-grade dento gyokuro were selected meticulously by tea masters with over 200 years of family history in tea production.

This unique gyokuro will develop distinct and complex notes at each brew. Starting from dark leafy greens and fresh nori intertwined with hints of toasted slivered almonds, to the fragrance of white spring flowers. 
High levels of caffeine round out this umami-filled blend, making it a fragrant delight to drink.
