This Dancong Red Tea was a crowd favourite from our Weekend Brew Clubs so we're bringing it officially online for sale. Dancong Red Tea is a relatively new innovation in Chaozhou. By using a blend of Dancong cultivars as raw material and processing it like a red tea, you end up with the best of both words: the signature floral fragrance and aroma of a Dancong, and the smooth and mellow sweetness of a red tea. For a more intense, sweet brew, you may choose to brew it at boiling temperature. For a more floral, layered experience, you may boil it around 90-95°. Overall, this tea serves as an extremely smooth and pleasant everyday drink for red tea lovers.
